The Paradigm Shift

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.

The story thus far...

The founding of Euto has set the base for what could easily be the greatest civilization the world has ever seen, but the shadows cast by the skyscrapers of this fine city grow longer each day. Corruption has taken hold of Euto, and the outlook is grim. One man was given charge of the situation, in a last ditch effort to make a change for good in this city. Krieger: A Marshall with a strength of will unknown to most, took up his charge, in order to make Euto the Metropolis it was always meant to be.

Marshal Krieger Decided there was only one thing that could be done. He needed to assemble an elite team. A team with various skills catered to dispatching the crime riddling the streets, mundane and super alike. With the help of The Eye, Krieger can discreetly keep taps on the city. These two alone help drive our heroes to make great the city that has been brought so low.

Through patience and persistence, our team was formed:
Panzert, a reformed supervillain, has decided to join the fray, to make a proper name for himself, and bring the voices of the people in his favor, as opposed to the cries of condemnation he had grown so accustomed to.
Dr. Coldsnapp, a cryo-geneticist, was recruited for her exceptional mind. In an experiment she conducted, she was trying to genetically modify a human being to be capable of traveling to the earth’s core, by lowing their natural body tempurature. The results were less than ideal. Coldsnapp’s body has been permanently reduced to sub-arctic temperatures, and she must regularly expel the cold from her body if she wishes to survive.
The Guardian, A rebellious child in most people’s eyes-holds a great power and responsibility. He is the Guardian of Harmony. A mantle that has been passed down to him for reasons yet unknown. Tasked with protecting the world from untold evils, he spends his time researching the arcane arts; when he’s not drinking and chasing girls.
And finally, Stiletto Red, a local of Euto; was taken advantage of, and had forced genetic manipulation to create the master of shadows he is today. A Human-Chameleon hybrid, he was recruited for his uncanny abilities of stealth and recon.

Since their arrival, the super group has started strong, bringing to heel four different villains. They are finally starting to put their names on the map.
But the world always focuses on the flaws…
On the words of an unknown gentleman, Panzert went head-first into America, bringing the team in tail to save his mother.
Since then, the world is mildly recoiling at the fact that a team of superheros invaded the USA. This spark may start a fire in the world, a fire that might bring down the walls of Euto.
And the fact remains that magic is influencing the evil in this city. What role does it play, and how is it linked to the Guardian’s new found line of work?
All eyes are on Euto now, and the days are fleeting.
Can it be saved?

Dr. Coldsnapp's Journal

Jamaica, that’s where our last mission went down, where we fought dozens of guerilla soldiers who were no doubt specifically hired to ensure that we gave up the ghost before reaching Mimic. We got 15 whole minutes of peace after landing in Jamaica before the shooting started. We did actually to not only find Mimic (with the help of the Eye and the Guardian), but also detain him. To be honest, the “detaining” part was actually more of a rescue. After navigating a massive, underground system of labs lined with booby-traps tailor-made just for us: magnets to screw with Panzert, a nice, big industrial AC system to freeze Stiletto, Gaulman, and I in our tracks, and a good old-fashioned high-caliber turret that’s pretty effective against anything alive. We had little trouble dispatching said turret, and soon after we discovered the lab in which Mimic was being held. It was an unexpected and quite troubling sight: Mimic hooked up to a series of machines, obviously in agony. Someone was attempting to keep him in his “Panzert-state” and prevent him from converting back to his own normal physiology. Admittedly, I was morbidly fascinated, but we needed Mimic back at Euto’s labs to cure Panzert’s “cancer.” We got Mimic out of there and headed out back to the chopper’s landing site. Without too much more trouble we made it back to Euto, and Dr Gaulman and I are working on getting Panzert healthy. AS of right now, we still have Mimic on the premises, secured of course. Not really sure what the plans are concerning him, but I would like to know who was behind his forced conversion. There’s always more work to do, more crime to fight I guess.
